Sendra Privacy Policy

Terms of Service

USESENDRA LTD (RC 9079524) · Last updated 27 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Sendra, the WhatsApp service and related websites operated by USESENDRA LTD (“Sendra”, “we”, “us”). By creating a PIN, sending a message to Sendra, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Sendra is

Sendra lets you buy, sell, send, receive, and swap digital dollars (including USDT and USDC) and move value to and from Nigerian naira, mainly inside WhatsApp. Some steps, including PIN setup and identity checks, happen on a secure web page.

Sendra is not a bank, and balances in the service are not bank deposits. Digital assets can lose value, and blockchain transactions cannot be reversed once they are confirmed on a network.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law. You must use a WhatsApp number you control. We may refuse or close an account if we cannot verify your identity, or if the service is not available in your location.

3. Your account and PIN

For Sendra-managed wallets, we create and hold the wallet keys in encrypted form so we can carry out the transactions you confirm. You authorize us to sign and submit those transactions when you approve them with your PIN.

Your PIN is how you authorize sends, sales, swaps, and payouts. You are responsible for keeping it secret. Do not share it, and do not type it into the WhatsApp chat. Tell us immediately at support@usesendra.com if you believe someone else has used your account.

4. Transactions

Before you confirm a transaction, we show you the amount, asset, destination, and any rate or fee that applies at that moment. Rates and fees can change before you confirm. You are responsible for checking that the amount, bank account, and wallet address are correct. A payment sent to the wrong account or address may be impossible to retrieve.

Buying and selling naira, and some cross-network transfers, are completed by banks, payment companies, and blockchain networks outside Sendra. A transaction can be delayed, rejected, or left incomplete by one of those parties even after you have confirmed it.

5. Third-party services and lost or missing funds

Sendra relies on third parties to complete transactions. Those parties include, depending on the transaction, banks, payment and settlement providers (including Centiiv, Daya, and Paystack), identity-verification providers, messaging services (including WhatsApp, operated by Meta), and blockchain or bridging networks (including Aptos, Stellar, Solana, Polygon, and NEAR Intents / 1Click). We do not control those parties, their systems, or their decisions.

Sendra is not liable for funds that go missing, are delayed, or fail to arrive in the course of a transaction because we are relying on a third party to carry out part of that transaction. This includes a failure, delay, rejection, outage, or error by a bank, payment provider, blockchain network, bridge, or other third party, and it includes funds that cannot be recovered from that third party.

If a transaction is lost or funds do not arrive as expected, we will:

Recovery depends on that third party and on whether the funds can still be retrieved. We will tell you what we find and what the third party says. Trying to recover funds does not mean the funds will be returned, and it does not make Sendra liable for a loss caused by a third party.

Contact support@usesendra.com with the phone number on your account and any reference we sent you, and we will start this trace.

6. Identity checks

Larger naira transactions require identity verification. We may ask for your full name, NIN, BVN, a liveness check, and proof of address. We use this information to meet legal and fraud-prevention duties. We may refuse a transaction or limit your account if verification fails or if the phone number on an identity record does not match your WhatsApp number.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Sendra for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any illegal activity. You must not attempt to interfere with the service, access another person’s account, or submit false identity or bank details. We may freeze or close an account, and we may report activity to the relevant authorities, if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

8. Availability

We work to keep Sendra available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, WhatsApp or provider outages, and network congestion can interrupt a transaction. You can freeze your account from the Sendra website if you see activity you do not recognize.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Nigerian law, Sendra is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of the service. Our responsibility for a loss that is caused by our own systems, rather than by a third party, is limited to the naira value of the affected transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud by Sendra.

10. Changes and ending use

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. If you keep using Sendra after the update, the new Terms apply. You may stop using Sendra at any time. We may suspend or close access where these Terms, the law, or a partner’s rules require it. Closing an account does not reverse a transaction that has already been submitted.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
